Start off the year with some giving. A worthy and crafty project I just came across is The Toy Society www.thetoysociety.blogspot.com . The Toy Society is a small project spreading the love throughout the streets. Nothing to it really just a bunch of handmade toys looking for a nice home.
There are two ways you can go about joining in on the fun. Firstly, If you'd like to send in a toy to be dropped somewhere in Australia or even elsewhere in the world (London, Madrid and NYC are coming up) then send it to:
The Toy Society PO Box 1046 Balgowlah NSW
Secondly you can do a toy drop in your own city. Email The Toy Society [firstname.lastname@example.org] to find out he details.
Start the new year off by de-clutter and de-stashing.
"Rubber stamp on it. Collage papers around it. Put on fabric and quilt or add buttons shaped like peas. Adorn with ribbons. Make it into a pendant by transferring it to clay. As long as you don't use it in a commercial product you've got permission to use it freely!
We would love to see what you've done when you create your book mark, journal cover, tote bag, or even the bill payment for the Electric company So please put a link to your creations in the comments area. And most important of all - Enjoy . . and pass it on!
I am trying to rearrange my craft area. If I had a room it would be so wonderful, but alas! So, I have been perusing images on the web for some kind of help, ideas to grab. Here are some ideas, which of course belong to the original posters.
