These instructions include lots of images and a template. You cou;ld use this basket design for so many different things...
You will need:
Pattern
Muslin and matching thread
Coffee and supplies to coffee dye
Raw cotton
Pink embroidery thread
Stuffing
1. Follow e-how to coffee dye the muslin and thread. http://www.ehow.com/how_2044774_dye-fabric-coffee.html
2. Enlarge the pattern and trace on the muslin. Using the pattern cut 2 bodies, leaving seams 1/4" around the tracing.
3. With the right sides together stitch pieces together leaving an opening in the tail for stuffing.
4. Snip the curved edges and turn right side out.
5. Stuff thinly with stuffing. This is not a fat bunny.
6. After stuffing the body place a piece of raw cotton between front and back in the opening at the tail.
7. Stitch hole up in the back seam with the cotton in place.
8. Using embroidery thread stitch in an eye and nose. Stitch over the leg, neck and ear line as shown in the pattern.
Send in pictures of your rabbit!
Clover Stamp
Cut the end off a large potato and on the cut end draw the outline of a clover leaf. Using a knife carve away the excess potato down about an inch until only the shamrock remains. Use the potato like a stamp with an ink pad or thinned paint. Decorate paper or cards with these stamps for St. Patrick's Day.

Really, I saw one of these on Skip to My Lou while thinking on what to make for my co-workers.
I bought the pattern, and then began fervently searching for any other patterns I could also make. I have found several I am going to make (better be fast!) Here are my favorites:
All Stitched Up

Vintage Treasures is a book by by Jane Cassini and Ann Brownfield. This great idea for an add on advent calendar is from the book. Using s stretched canvas, foam board, tags, pins, and vintage bits and baubles. Adds a tag with a vintage item for every day that passes.
Idea is from this book:

I have been having so much fun over at ThisNext making lists. My latest is called Graphic! Christmas. Take a peek.
See the list here: http://www.thisnext.com/list/1FF8FCE3/graphic-christmas

6. Glue or fuse cardboard trees to back the fabric trees.together.
7. Punch holes in each tree.
8. Tie small lengths of ribbon into loops on each tree through the hole you just punched.

Did you forget in all your Thanksgiving preparations that Uncle Jimmy cannot sit next to your sister or else the cranberry sauce bowl will get thrown across the room again? Well, here you go! Click on the image to see full size. Print out these placecards and fill them out for your table to avoid and food and relative mishaps.
Even though I am not looking for advents, I keep seeing them everywhere - in stores, online...Maybe it is the red car syndrome. You know, after you decide you are in love with the brand new shiny red car and are going to buy it, you start seeing red cards of the same type EVERYWHERE! Happens to me all the time.

Remember this past on Putz houses: http://urbandebris.typepad.com/urban_debris_journal/2006/12/putz_or_dimesto.html? For some reason I got inspired to look for a new pattern, so here you go! I know it is not December, but you can get started early.
This is a project you can make as easy or challenging as you wish. You can use plastic eggs, felt eggs, blown out real eggs, or something egg shaped.
Supplies:
12 eggs Easter eggs
Marker, craft pens, felt or egg dye or depending on which eggs you use
Paper
Ribbon
Glue
12 surprises
How ~
Using the marker or craft pen, number the eggs 1 through 12
Decorate as desired
Write notes on the paper and put in each egg
If you are using felt, you can staple or tape the notes to the back of the egg, or cut a pocket and glue to the back to hold the treats.
Add ribbon with glue. For plastic, slip the ribbon between the two halves and snap closed.
Put in the treats and hang from a branch.
