You may have heard about the blizzard that hit the east coast on Dec 26. We did, but figured it would be like any other storm - snow, and we might have to add an extra day to our itinerary. Since E is from New York and I lived in New Hampshire for several years, neither of us was thinking an worse than a typical snowstorm in December. "Noreaster" or "Blue Norther" did not enter my mind.
A slight miscalculation on our part. Did you know it takes 12 hours to drive from Queens to Nashville? Did you know there is something called "snow thunder"??
