Today is the second snow day here in Texas in the DFW area. Keep in mind I lived in New Hampshire for a few years, so this:
does not really qualify as a reason to panic.
But, unusual enough for Texas. Even better the power compant decided to go on emergency status and do what is called "rolling blackouts." If you live north of here that may be business as usual, but not for Texas. And thank you very much, power company for letting us know in advance. I am trying to type this post before my next 15 minute outage arrives!
When the power did come back on, the heater started and I noticed this on the bathroom tile:
Ew. Unexpected. Weird. WTH did that come from?? I checked my dog and myself carefully. No wounds. Now I am totally freaked out. I wiped up the blood but when I came back a couple of minutes later there was more! I realized - WE ARE NOT ALONE IN THE HOUSE. Could it be one of these injured?
So me and my flashlight are looking around on the floor, in cabinets, under stuff. No more blood in any other rooms. I decide to look up at the ceiling in case it is creepily dripping blood like a B horror flick. There is a vent right above the area. Then I hear a chittering noise. So, I do what every dumb girl does in the just mentioned slasher movie - I go to the attic to investigate.
I am really hoping to find these (I love them, whole nother story)
But what I have found is.......
nothing...that I can see...but it's there...and it's hiding.
I will continue the investigation between outages and keep you updated. In the meantime if you have any ideas or ways to protect myself from cannibal, zombie, blood dripping bunnies please comment beacuse I am convinced there is one in my attic.
